THE B-DRY®
WATERPROOFING SYSTEM

THE B-DRY® SYSTEM

In 1958 B-Dry® System Corporate received a patent for an Interior Basement Waterproofing system that set the standard for the industry. This same type of system is the basis for most interior draintile systems being used today.

Most homes that we visit do qualify for our interior services, however there are some situations where exterior excavation will be what we recommend. Contact us for a free no obligation inspection and we can help you make the best decision for your particular situation during our initial visit.

Interior Advantages

The advantages of using an Interior waterproofing service.

  • Affordability
  • Less Construction Mess
  • Timely Completion
  • Lifetime Warranty
  • Easily Serviceable

Interior Basement Waterproofing typically cost about ½ of what an exterior excavation would cost and offers a lifetime warranty to give you the Peace of mind you're looking for.

Exterior Advantages

The advantages of using an Exterior waterproofing service.

  • Proper repair for substantial structural damage
  • Promotes positive drainage against the wall
  • Diverting water away from the house

Not really considered an advantage, Exterior Basement Waterproofing typically cost about double to triple of what an interior system would cost and the warranty for exterior work is not the "Lifetime" warranty because this type of system is not easily serviceable. However, sometimes this is just what needs to be done. We promote the exterior excavation when it's clearly the proper method of repair that is needed.

Watch Out for Gimmicks

There have been many companies that have derived their version of a basement waterproofing system using gimmicks and tricks to get around patent laws. We have seen everything from rectangular channels to epoxy cove-plates, the attempts are endless.

There is one fact that needs to be laid out. You can't replace the footer drain without a draintile being placed beside the footer of the home. There are some companies that install what they represent as a footer drain and it sits on top of the footer???? That is kind of like having the drain to your bathtub at the top of the tub instead of the bottom where it belongs.

Folks, we understand that we are not the only basement waterproofing company in town, but we are one of the honest contractors. We will give you an honest opinion and explain every aspect of the services that we offer, without the High Pressure games and sales gimmicks that some of the other companies use everyday.
